Our Story

Meet Nath & Lans, the husband-and-wife duo behind The Coral Club.

A couple sitting on a decorated platform by the water, with mountains in the background. The man is wearing a light purple shirt, sunglasses, and a white cap. The woman is wearing a white dress, sunglasses, a green visor, and is holding a white parasol. They are surrounded by white floral arrangements and the platform is adorned with white columns and decorative elements. The scene appears festive and scenic, likely at a boat or water-themed event.

Somehow, between working for some of the world's wealthiest families aboard luxury super yachts, welcoming our twin girls and deciding that buying a vintage ferry boat sounded like a brilliant idea…

For years, we travelled through Europe, the Caribbean and the US creating extraordinary experiences on the water. But what stayed with us wasn't the glamour.

It was the feeling.

And honestly… we never really got over the magic of it all.

That’s when The Coral Club was born.

We always dreamed of creating something that felt different. Something with a vintage soul, understated luxury and effortlessly boujee vibes.

Two people sitting on a striped outdoor lounge chair near a marina, smiling at each other. The woman is wearing a white dress and sun visor, the man is in a white shirt and beige shorts. Behind them is a large white boat with green accents, decorated with flowers and wine bottles.

The moment we stepped aboard this vintage timber ferry, we instantly fell in love.

Where most people saw a restoration project, we saw golden hour on the deck, long lunches rolling into sunset, champagne flowing, music drifting through the air and beautiful moments shared with the people you love most.

So naturally... we bought the boat.

We didn't just see an old ferry, we saw a feeling.

A place where every detail is thoughtfully considered, every celebration feels effortless and every guest feels at home.

Today, she calls the Whitsundays home, hosting pre and post-wedding celebrations, elegant hens parties, birthdays, sunset soirées and corporate gatherings.

The Coral Club is more than a boat, she's a little piece of our hearts and a place designed for people who simply love to celebrate beautifully.

If you step aboard and feel there's something special about this place, then we've created exactly what we set out to.

The Vessel

Our girl, she is truly iconic & now a piece of our hearts.

Once the MV Titan,  a 1967 Moreton Bay ferry boat built by hand with heart, craftsmanship and soul. She has lived many beautiful lives across Australian waters. From carrying school children and island locals through Moreton Bay, to becoming the beloved Bundy Belle cruising the Burnett River, she has spent decades bringing people together on the water.

And now… somehow, she found us.

When Nathan and I first stepped onboard, we instantly knew she was something special. Beneath every timber panel, every perfectly imperfect detail was a boat filled with history, character and vintage soul. What started as a vintage ferry boat has now become “The Coral Club”, lovingly restored and reimagined into a floating venue for champagne-filled celebrations, golden hour magic and unforgettable moments in the Whitsundays.

Now sitting proudly in her new home at the Port of Airlie, she’s nostalgic, timeless and a little boujee, the kind of boat that makes people feel something the second they step onboard. And honestly… we think that’s what makes her so iconic.
